According to a new leak, weeks before the introduction of the iPhone 13 family, the iPhone 14 is preparing to bring together the Touch ID and Face ID duo. So, will the Touch ID on the iPhone 14 models consist of the traditional sensor or the under-screen sensors?
Apple iPhone 14 will come with Touch ID and Face ID!
Mark Gurman-based leaks appeared in Bloomberg's new newsletter. According to the report in question, Apple tested the in-screen Touch ID sensor on iPhone 13 models, but it was postponed to the next iPhone model after decisions were made that it would not be suitable for this year.
In other words, we can say that the iPhone 14 models will most likely come with both Face ID and Touch ID. In fact, this is a really great need right now. As a matter of fact, using the Face ID sensor in these times when we are constantly wearing masks is one of the details that makes the experience difficult.
We've seen many developments about the iPhone 13 models so far, and some leaks were indeed focused on the in-screen Touch ID sensors. On the other hand, it will not be easy to come to a clear conclusion about how Apple took a decision.
It looks like Apple will hold two different events in September 2021. We expect to meet the iPhone 13 models at one of these events (if there is no delay like last year), and we will be able to learn more clearly what the new models offer during the promotion.
