USA's Athing Mu wins women's 800 meters final

On the 11th day of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, American athlete Athing Mu became the gold medalist in the women's 800 meters.

Eight athletes competed in the final at the Olympic Stadium.

Mu took the gold medal with a time of 1.55.21. Keely Hodgkinson of Great Britain won the silver medal with a time of 1.55.88, while Raevyn Rogers of the USA took the bronze with a time of 1.56.81.
