“Unlike Audi” Audi Model 2022 Q5 E-Tron Revealed!
Images of the Audi Q5 E-Tron, which Audi is preparing to introduce at the Chengu Motor Show on August 28, have been leaked. The new Q5 E-Tron, which is very similar to the Q4 E-Tron in terms of design, offers a range of 588 kilometers in the electric motor option.
German automobile giant Audi shared images of a new model covered with a cover a few days ago. The cover of this model, called the Audi Q5 E-Tron, was normally expected to be removed at the Chengdu Auto Show, which will start on August 28, but detailed photos of the vehicle were leaked online from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China.
The design of the new Q5 E-Tron, which has almost the same dimensions as its cousin Volkswagen ID.6, is very similar to another model of the brand, the Q4, especially when we look at the headlights, taillights and fenders. If you wish, let's take a closer look at the features of the new Q5 E-Tron, which offers two different engine options and will go on sale towards the end of this year.
Audi Q5 E-Tron Could Have Two Different Engines!
The new Audi Q5 E-Tron is built on the MEB infrastructure developed by Volkswagen for electric cars, and this is one of the biggest reasons why it is so similar to the VW ID. With a length of 4,876 millimeters, the vehicle has a wheelbase of 3 meters, which is extremely close to Hyundai's electric SUV Ioniq.
Although it is not certain, Audi is expected to offer two different engine options for the Q5 E-Tron. The first model, called the 35 E-Tron, is rear-wheel drive and has a 177-horsepower engine that is expected to hit 100 kilometers in around 9.3 seconds. Another model, called the 50 E-Tron, which is expected to be the flagship of the brand, will have two different electric motors both at the front and at the rear. The engines of this all-wheel drive model produce 107 horsepower at the front axle and 201 horsepower at the rear axle.
An image of the interior design of the Audi Q5 E-Tron has not been shared yet. We will learn all the features of the vehicle, its release date and sales price in the European market, together at the Chengdu Auto Show, which will start on August 28.
